About Us

Anthella is a craft botanical-based skincare and home-care company. We create products inspired by, and include, the best of what nature has to offer, to ensure the highest quality is evident in every product we sell and you use.

 

The Journey

We are a family-run company, which started as a pursuit to develop natural ingredients-based products for our friends and family, which would be a safer alternative to using chemically-based products on our skin.  We researched ingredients that were safe to use and were known to help with common skin ailments in our extreme Canadian seasons.

The initial products, which included Calendula oil and bees wax, were a hit with friends and family, especially for those with sensitive skin and scent sensitivities.  

For the next two years, we tweaked recipes and expanded our offerings to include natural-based products, to clean and polish wood-based furniture. 

We hope you enjoy using these products and we look forward to having you continue this journey with us, as we continue to find new ways to go-back to basics for the wellness of ourselves and our homes.

As Anthella is growing, we welcome your suggestions for new products and your thoughts on the existing ones.  Together we can make Anthella a truly wonderful company that provides simple, luxurious, and nourishing products that fit naturally within your lives.

 

The Ethos

Anthella strives to provide the highest quality botanical-based products while minimizing our impact on the environment.  To this end, we source our ingredients as close to home, as possible, and are working on developing partnerships with local growers and processing facilities to source our ingredients, and to support our local farmers.  

Anthella also subscribes to Offset, which tracks the distance of all of our shipments, and purchases carbon offsets to counter the carbon emissions due to the shipping of our products.

We will continue to add new ways of minimizing our impact on the environment as we pursue our purpose to deliver wellness through the best of what nature has to offer.

 

The Products

Anthella produces each product in small batches of around 50 to ensure high quality and attention to detail.  There is no automated production at any step in the process providing a true hand made product carefully crafted to the highest standards using the best quality natural ingredients.
